This facility is the first of its kind in the Middle East and is designed in accordance to the highest world class standards to provide WesternGeco with a training facility to cover the entire region. The architectural design of the facility is very unique as it resembles a ship when seen from outside. This is enhanced through the use of various facades and cladding on the elevations coupled with the overall layout of the building.
In fact, it is the presence of an 11m deep deployment/experimental pool that is 100m in length and 22m in width, which makes this project quite unique.
