The EPETCO fiberglass plant will be located within Jubail First Industrial City and once complete will produce 60,000 tons of ECR glass per annum.
The facility consists of four main parts:
- Main Product Plant
- A 34,000 square meter facility housing the finished goods warehouse, service area, chopped strand mat, direct packaging, weaving/assembled proving area, oven area, fiber forming area, chemical preparation, furnace area and offices
- Support Facilities
- A 4,500 square meter facility consisting of an administration building, batch plant, utility area, oxygen plant, MV switchgear room and a guard room
- Site Infrastructure
- Spread over 4,500 square meters
- Unconstructed Area
- Totaling 25,000 square meters
Amana’s scope on the project includes procurement and construction of the plant including its support facilities, utilities, services and site infrastructure.
