The facility covers an area of approximately 24,000 square meters, and will be constructed over a period of 68 weeks in two phases. Phase 1 of 12,000 square meters will be completed within 32 weeks, with Phase 2 to follow. The completion of Phase 1 will allow ADNOC to access the facility by June 2006 so that students will be able to attend scheduled training in August 2006. The facility is comprised of three interconnected buildings.
The central building is composed of ground plus two floors while the other two buildings flanking it are composed of ground plus one floor. The external of the buildings will have stone cladding. These prestigious facilities have been custom designed to suit the requirements of ADNOC.
