The Abu Dhabi National Paper Mill comprises of three main buildings: The mill, stores and administration buildings. The Mill is a three level structure, 23 meters in height designed to accommodate heavy equipment with weights up to 53 tons per unit. The design also includes a large number of plinths that require a high level of accuracy.
The ground floor is a concrete structure that carries additional levels of steel structures. Both levels are equipped with overhead cranes used for machine maintenance and material handling purposes. The building is protected by sprinkler and fire alarm systems. Four and a half kilometers of coordinated services such as firefighting, water and drainage, low voltage cables and others are also installed in the mill.
The administration building is a two-storey concrete structure utilized by both the Paper Mill management team and ADNIP`s main operations. The project is finished with an above-ground water tank, landscaping, a shaded car parking area, a security house, and a controlled access gate.
