Awarded to Amana on a fast-track basis, the twelfth phase of the Light Industrial Units consists of 8 warehouse blocks totaling 64 units with 8.5 meter bay space and aluminum-insulated sandwich composite panels for the ceiling and walls.
These high quality, thermally insulated purpose-built units are fitted with offices and two cargo entry/exit points, one a ramp for forklifts and the other a loading dock for containers and trucks, located at the rear of each unit. The 34,000 square meter facility required over 650 metric tons of steel to build and was completed in 270 days.
Phase 12 of the project comes on the heel of Amana’s completion of Phase 9 in January 2007, which consisted of 40 light industrial units with a total built-up area of 27,000 square meters.
Amana was also awarded Phase 8 which consisted of 64,000 square meters of warehousing space.
