The Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation required the turnkey construction of a purpose built facility designed to maintain the transportation containers being hauled by trailers. This facility has a total built up area that exceeds 25,000 square meters with a height of 18 meters.
This facility encompasses heavy steel sections and thick concrete floor slabs to accommodate different types of heavy live loads, huge roll up doors and deep trenches. The facility is complete with various mechanical, electrical, and plumbing services including a fully air-conditioned workshop, compressed air systems, and special electrical requirements. The building also houses various administration units and offices.
