The Fujairah landing station is part of the EIG Cable System project connecting 13 countries across 3 continents with this particular station providing Internet connections to Europe and India through the UAE.
The specially-designed facility was constructed in under 100 days despite the unfavorable sea conditions that hampered construction onshore.
