Located Abu Dhabi-bound on Sheikh Zayed Road, this distribution center is used to store and transport spare parts for General Motors across the region.
Having a total built-up area of 14,000 square meters on a plot area of 43,000 square meters, this project was awarded and constructed on a fast-track basis. With a large clear span, this pre-engineered design-build facility was designed for the full utilization of the storage space and racking requirements for the rapid movement of goods. This facility has internal administration offices, a utilities building and a small security house.
In July 2006, Amana completed a 13,000 square-meter warehouse and office expansion for the General Motors facility.
