The Meydan – Horse Racing City is a USD600 million facility offering horse racing and training tracks, stables, museum, hotels, restaurants, entertainment clubs, plazas, towers and a boathouse. The 5 stables constructed were used as quarantine during the Dubai World Cup in March 2008. With a built-up area of approximately 5,000 square meters, the facility also includes horse paths and specialized equestrian equipment. Due to the fast-track nature of the job, internal and external precast walls were used which allowed for the completion of the job in 3 months.
