2007 Dubai Marathon - January 12, 2007

Employees from Amana`s Corporate and Dubai offices participated in the Dubai Marathon 3km Charity Run held on January 12, 2007.

The runners gathered at the Dubai office at 9am and were shuttled to the World Trade Center in time for the start of the race. The runners took off from the Dubai International Financial Center towards the World Trade Center. At the half-way mark, the path u-turned and the runners made their way back towards the finishing line.

All runners received a medal for their participation and all proceeds from the race went to charity. After the race the runners also had a chance to enjoy the marathon festivities which included games and live music.

As a token of appreciation, the Dubai office treated all Amana runners to a mouthwatering Lebanese buffet at Al Dar restaurant in Jumeriah.
